This is the most complete tour to enjoy nature, culture, and history. We will visit Doka Coffee Estate for a tour of the plantation to learn the ancient techniques used by experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and the world. Try the delicious coffee after the tour!

We will continue to the La Paz Waterfalls Park, which offers extensive hiking trails at altitudes reaching over 5,000 feet (1,524 m) through cloud forest and tropical jungle ecosystems with rivers and 5 waterfalls. Here we will have lunch.

Note: Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and a light coat as it can get cold (especially at the falls).

Doka Beneficio De Café And Cataratas De La Paz

On April 27 we will take a tour of the Doka plantation, where Tres Generaciones coffee has been grown since 1985. It has been awarded on two consecutive occasions with the SINTERCAFE prize for the best coffee in the world.

The most outstanding feature of this hacienda is the oldest wet coffee warehouse in the country that is still functioning. It operates solely by water power without the need to use of any type of electricity, and since June 2003 the Costa Rican Government has designated it as Historical and Architectural Heritage of the country.

La Paz Waterfalls Park

After visiting the coffee plantation we will have the privilege of discovering one of the most spectacular natural treasures Costa Rica has to offer: La Paz Waterfalls Park.

With an altitude that reaches more than 5000 feet (1524 m), trails extend along filled with biodiverse wealth where we can see butterflies, birds and abundant vegetation. Also noteworthy are the bodies of water, as we will find several rivers and waterfalls along the cloud forest and rainforest ecosystems.
